DALTON CARPET ONE FLOOR & HOME HOSTS A 12-DAY GIVEAWAY.

This holiday season, Dalton Carpet One Floor & Home hosted a 12-day giveaway where they teamed up with local businesses to give away over $3,000 worth of items from handmade pottery to closet organization consultations. To enter, you had to follow Dalton Carpet One on Instagram and their partner plus tag someone who loves Christmas. Contestants were encouraged to sign up for Dalton Carpet One Floor and Home’s newsletters to receive notifications.  

With the increased traffic to their social pages, Dalton Carpet One used this opportunity to raise money for their local food banks: The Greene County Food Pantry and The Food Bank of Northeast Georgia. They encouraged followers to give back to these communities in whatever way they could whether that be with $1 donations or $100 donations. 

The Green County Food Pantry’s mission is to serve Green County residents while The Food Bank of Northeast Georgia serves Athens, Gainesville, and the greater northeast area. Both food banks work hard to gather donated items and purchase surplus food to distribute to community members in need. Their goal is to provide a nutritionally sound assortment of canned goods, boxed dinners, rice, beans, pasta, cereal, fruit, meat, and bread in quantities large enough to provide a few meals every month. 

This isn’t the first time that Dalton Carpet One employees have supported the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia. In past holiday seasons, they’ve worked to package over 1,100 bags of food to distribute throughout the northeast Georgia region.
